Heather Maxey

Heather Maxey of Mountain Home is a business owner and civic leader.

She and her family own and operate several automobile dealerships, including Ford, Chevrolet, Dodge, Jeep and Ram. She is co-owner of Big Creek Country Club in Mountain Home and co-owner of multiple property groups managing commercial, residential and medical real estate.

Maxey served on the Arkansas Department of Higher Education Coordinating Board from 2023-2026. She served as the Baxter County campaign coordinator for Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Lt. Gov. Leslie Rutledge and U.S. Sen. John Boozman. She previously was a member of the boards of the Peitz Cancer House in Baxter County and the A+ for Education Campaign for Mountain Home Public Schools and was PTA district director of outreach for Harrison Public Schools. She is a board member of the Mountain Home Chamber of Commerce.

Maxey attended the University of Arkansas, where she majored in marketing.

She and her husband, Clay, have two children, Finley and Mattie Claire, who attend Mountain Home public schools.

Maxsey was appointed to a seven-year term in 2026 by Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders. Her appointment expires in Jan. 14, 2033.
