1. Purpose

The Arkansas State University Board of Trustees will reward persons designated by the board as President Emeritus with certain specified lifetime benefits.  These benefits shall continue for the lifetime of the spouse of the President Emeritus should the spouse survive the President Emeritus.

2. President Emeritus Benefit Policy

Persons designated by the Board of Trustees as President Emeritus shall receive the following benefits:

A. A Gold Pass entitling the holder to two tickets to all Arkansas State University ticketed events including, but not being limited to, plays, concerts, banquets, presentations, and performances at all venues on all campuses.

B. One designated preferred parking space for all events on all campuses.

C. Two tickets at the available location of choice to all home intercollegiate football and basketball games.

D. A designated preferred parking space at all home intercollegiate football and basketball games.

Office space and secretarial assistance, including stationery, note cards, postage, telephone, and computer usage, on both the Jonesboro campus and at the Little Rock office.

3. Process

            The Office of the Chancellor on each campus is responsible for coordinating the provision of benefits in accordance with this policy.  In order to plan for reserved tickets and parking to Arkansas State University events, the President Emeritus should promptly notify the president’s office of those events for which tickets will be requested.
